Just a short note. In between assignments I stopped by Allendale to visit with friends at the Christmas Open House.
Wanted to let everyone know the neighborhood is looking fantastic. Everyone is (long since) moved into their homes and the lawns are all down. Louis tells me that Fred waters his lawn constantly.
Glen says there are more rehabs underway (one was dedicated yesterday) and the city continues (although at a slower pace) to tear down houses in the area. Glen tells me that there is a house in the neighborhood that needs a whole new roof (including decking) and before I know it I think I am signed up to help lead the fast weekend roof job after the first of the year..... yes... things are good in Allendale.
